Savages Win!

Posted by Dennis Fredrickson at Aug 29, 2009 9:23AM PDT ( 0 Comments )

Last night marked the start of our 2009 season – with a 38 – 28 victory over Tri-Valley.

Tri-Valley had a very good football team, and was a tough opponent for us. Our guys showed tremendous resolve as two of our key players suffered eary injuries.

As a result of those injuries, our younger and less experienced players stepped in and made our victory possible.

Equally impressive was the tremendous leadership of our upperclassmen. Through their example, our young players contributed and helped our team win.

I will up-date our injury report, as well as stats, pictures, and video’s – later this weekend.

Goood Morning Savages!!

It’s Game Day – your Savages are ready to begin their championship run with a trip to Cambridge to play a tough Tri-Valley squad. Game time is 7pm.

We go into tonights game in good shape, in decent condition physically. It will be hot today but the past few weeks of hard work should have us in postition to compete tonight.

It is very impressive to see how hard our young men work. They are very focused, and eager to begin this championship run.

We Look forward to seeing (and hearing!)our loyal supporters in Cambridge tonight!

Game Week is here!!

Posted by Dennis Fredrickson at Aug 23, 2009 2:03PM PDT ( 2 Comments )

This week we begin preparations for the Savages 2009 Championship run!

This year’s focus is on T.E.A.M.

Together
Everyone
Accomplishes
More

Our mentality this year is that we will have 12, one game seasons. We will have championship mentality for each game.

I believe this year you will see a more balanced attack on Offense, and a Defense who’s motto is "Swarm & Punish".

As usual, we have 12 young Iron Men who will represent our school and community with their exceptional ability, attitude and sportsmanship.

We look forward to seeing you all… and more importantly we are excited to HEAR you all!!
